  1. The following debug session will alow you to copy the Newsroom files to any
  2. disk and run them from that disk.
  3. However, the Newroom program will still want you to enter the clip-art disks
  4. in drive A: and any banner, panel, or wire service disks in will also have to
  5. be put in drive A:.
  6. None of the disks need any copy protection, so therefore can be copied from
  7. disk to disk and still be run.
  8.  
  9. Just follow the instructions carefully.
  10.  
  11. First copy all the Newsroom files on to a clean disk.
  12. Also copy the Debug program on to the same disk.
  13.  
  14. RENAME  NWSRM.EXE  1
  15. DEBUG   1
  16. -E 691A EB 41

  20. {THE FOLLOWING PORTION IS TELLING THE NEWSROOM DISK WHERE TO FIND CERTAIN FILES
  21.  SUCH AS LOGO.PIC, NRTITLE.PIC, NRSETUP, ALONG WITH ALL THE PRINTER AND MODEM
  22.  CONFIG TABLES.}

  24. AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS ENTER THE APPROPRIATE HEX VALUE:

  26. FOR DRIVE B: 42
  27. FOR DRIVE C: 43
  28. FOR DRIVE D: 44

  62. That's all there is to it.  Now just copy it over to any disk you want and
  63. run it from there.  Just remember that it is going to look for certain files
  64. on the drive that you told it before in the debug session.
